BOOKSHOP DAY is approaching. It's a chance to reflect on what your bookshop means to you! The way in which we find books comes in many guises. Whether you are waiting for your favourite author to write that next book, getting tips from a friend, being gifted or gifting a surprise package, or indulging in something from your wish-list, it's likely a bookseller has a hand in your book discovery. At VOLUME, we offer our customers excellent service, and love to share our knowledge of and passion for interesting books produced by some of the very best publishers in Aotearoa and internationally; and written by authors who take us to new places, inform us about our world and incite us to action, literally and philosophically. Bringing books and readers together is the purpose of a bookshop. This year, to celebrate, send us a photograph of a book (or a stack of books!) you have purchased from VOLUME — it could be a snap of you reading it, a photo of the book in situ on your shelf, arranged in a curated display, or any inventive arrangement. Entries due by midnight 7th October 2023. Every entry goes in the draw to win a 6-month VOLUME Reading Subscription.
